Product Details
Curved aluminum grille is a contoured aluminum profile product commonly used in architectural decoration and commercial space design, widely applied to building facades, commercial space ceilings, airport and station decoration, and exhibition partitions. Processing curved aluminum grille involves multiple deep-processing steps from straight profiles to curved finished products, including stretch bending, CNC hole cutting, riveted assembly, and surface treatment.
Curved aluminum grille deep-processing flow:
Profile extrusion -> CNC stretch bending -> CNC precision hole/slot cutting -> riveted assembly -> silver-white anodizing -> full inspection and shipment
Shanghai Chuangsi Aluminum provides a full-process one-stop service from profile mold development and stretch bending to CNC precision hole cutting, riveting, and silver-white anodizing. Bend-radius error ±0.4mm, flatness 0.1mm-0.5mm, CNC hole position accuracy ±0.02mm, silver-white anodizing color difference ΔE ≤1.0.
01 Quality Starts from Raw Materials
Produced from A00 primary aluminum ingot with no scrap aluminum, ensuring good ductility and stain/wear resistance. We use 6063-T5 or O-temper aluminum sheet to form U-channel aluminum square tubes, which after stretch bending create various curved structures.
02 CNC Stretch Bending
Using stretch-bend machines and curved press-bending dies, we cold-form under static pressure. We can bend C-shaped, S-shaped, wave-shaped, multi-segment arc, double-curved, elliptical, and parabolic forms. Bend-radius error ±0.4mm, flatness 0.1mm-0.5mm, ensuring even curvature and smooth lines.
03 CNC Precision Hole and Slot Cutting
Equipped with CNC machining centers, we complete precision hole cutting, slotting, drilling, and tapping on curved grilles. Hole position accuracy ±0.02mm, ensuring high-precision fit for downstream riveted assembly and reducing on-site error.
04 Riveted Assembly and Modular Splicing
Using riveting, we precisely assemble curved grille pieces and connectors into modular units. Modular design enables fast on-site installation while ensuring shape consistency and overall structural integrity. Splicing gap ≤0.5mm.
05 Silver-White Anodizing
After silver-white anodizing, the surface forms an even, dense oxide film with a clean silver-white metallic look and color difference ΔE ≤1.0. The film offers good corrosion resistance and high gloss while retaining aluminum's natural metallic luster.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q1: What shapes can curved aluminum grilles be bent into?
A: Using CNC stretch bending, we can form C-shaped, S-shaped, wave-shaped, multi-segment arc, double-curved, elliptical, and parabolic shapes. Bend-radius error is held within ±0.4mm and flatness at 0.1mm-0.5mm, ensuring even curvature and smooth lines. Both single arcs and complex combined curves can be customized.
Q2: Can the bottom width, height, and thickness of curved grilles be customized?
A: Yes. Grille bottom width 20mm-150mm, height 20mm-200mm, thickness 0.5mm-3.0mm can all be customized. Customers choose specifications based on architectural design. We customize the whole process starting from profile mold development, supporting custom work per drawings and small-batch prototyping.
Q3: How to choose between 6063-T5 and O-temper aluminum sheet?
A: 6063-T5 is an age-hardened alloy with relatively high strength, suited to curved grille applications requiring structural strength, such as building facades and outdoor grilles. O-temper sheet is annealed, softer, with good bending performance, suited to complex curved shapes and interior decoration where strength is not critical. We machine both; customers choose based on application and shape complexity.
Q4: What steps are involved in curved aluminum grille processing?
A: The full process has six steps: profile extrusion -> CNC stretch bending -> CNC precision hole/slot cutting -> riveted assembly -> silver-white anodizing -> full inspection and shipment. Except for profile extrusion (cooperative production lines), all other steps are done in our own factory, so the customer deals with only one supplier.
Q5: How is curved aluminum grille processing priced?
A: Priced by grille specifications, curvature complexity, and processing steps. Standard curves are priced per set or per square meter; complex double-curvature or multi-segment arcs require extra evaluation. Free evaluation and quotation on samples. Contact Manager Du at 13611846009.
Q6: What are the MOQ and lead time for curved aluminum grilles?
A: MOQ is 50kg, supporting small-batch prototyping and engineering customization. Sample lead time is 7-15 days (depending on curvature and cross-section complexity), and batch lead time is 15-25 days after sample confirmation. Because curved grilles involve multiple deep-processing steps, we recommend discussing design drawings and curvature requirements in advance.
