Who we are
This website is operated by Shanghai Truetrust Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. ("Truetrust", "we", "us"), a manufacturer of custom aluminium extrusion profiles, CNC-machined parts and surface-finished components based in Shanghai, China. Our registered address is Room 102, 1st Floor, Building 3, No. 757 & 759 Jiuye Road, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201712, China.
This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through the quotation process, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this website only. Where we work under a customer contract or a signed NDA, that document takes precedence over this policy.

Information you give us
You can use most of this site without giving us anything. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it. Typically this is:
- Enquiry details from the quote form: your name or job title, telephone number, email address, and the message you write. If you also tell us your company name, country or project deadline, we keep that too.
- Technical material you send us — 2D drawings (DWG, DXF, PDF), 3D models (STEP, IGES), specification sheets, photos, target quantities and tolerances, whether sent through the form, by email or by WhatsApp.
- Commercial information once a project moves forward: delivery address, shipping contact, purchase order details and correspondence.
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send, payment card numbers, identity documents, health data or any other sensitive category of personal data through this site.
Information collected automatically
Our web server records standard request data — IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site available, diagnose faults and block abusive traffic.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run cross-site tracking or retargeting on this site. Where we use an analytics service to understand which pages are useful to visitors, the reports we read are aggregated — they tell us how many people opened a page, not who they were. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Why we use your information, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation — including a feasibility and DFM review of the drawing you send. Legal basis under the GDPR: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To perform an order — production, quality inspection, packaging, shipping documents and after-sales follow-up. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep business records — quotations, contracts, invoices and tax records. Legal basis: compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in documenting commercial transactions.
- To protect the site and our business — security logging and prevention of fraud or misuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure service.
- To send you technical or product updates — only where you have asked for them. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time with one message.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your enquiry details for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is necessary to answer you or to deliver an order:
- Service providers who host this website and run our business email, under contracts that limit them to processing data on our instructions.
- Production and logistics partners — for example a surface-treatment plant, a freight forwarder or a courier — when a project requires it and only the details needed for that step.
- Professional advisers and authorities — auditors, customs, tax or law-enforcement bodies, where the law requires it.
We do not publish customer names, logos or project photographs without written permission. If you want a reference case, we will ask you first.
Your drawings and confidential material
Drawings, models and specifications you send are treated as confidential commercial information, whether or not a formal NDA is in place. We use them for one purpose: assessing feasibility, quoting, and manufacturing your parts. They are stored on access-controlled systems, are not published anywhere on this site, and are not passed to third parties except suppliers who must see them to quote or produce a component — and who are bound to keep them confidential. We are glad to sign your NDA, or to provide ours, before you send files.
Where your data is processed
We are based in China, so information you send us is processed here. Where you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region with data-transfer rules, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer — contractual data-protection clauses with our service providers, and limiting transfers to what is necessary to answer your enquiry or fulfil your order. You may ask us for details of those safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders: up to 24 months after our last contact, so that we can pick the conversation up again if your project restarts. After that we delete it or keep it only in anonymised form.
- Orders and invoices: retained for the period required by Chinese accounting and tax law, currently ten years.
- Technical files attached to an active project: kept for the life of the project plus the warranty and record period that applies to it.
- Server logs: short retention, normally a few weeks, unless we are investigating a security incident.
Your rights
Subject to the law where you live, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer need for the purpose it was collected;
- restrict or object to certain uses, including direct marketing;
- receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw a consent you gave earlier.
Write to linjunbing@truetrustlv.com with the subject "Data request" and tell us what you would like us to do; we may ask one question to confirm we are speaking to the right person. We answer within 30 days. If you believe we have handled your information badly, you may complain to the data-protection authority in your country — we would appreciate the chance to solve it with you first.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry records and technical files is limited to the staff who need it, protected by individual accounts, and reviewed when someone leaves a role. No system is perfect; if a breach were ever to affect your information, we would notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
This is a business-to-business site for industrial buyers and engineers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Where we link to an external site — a standards body, a trade association or a video platform — that site has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how it handles your data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information you have already sent will be communicated to you directly where we have your contact details.
